Apart the traditional events baltics have a wide range of high class music, dance and theater events on the inside or open-air stages all year long. Most of these events will be hold in the cities and biggest towns, but don't be surprised finding yourself listening the classical music in the forest or spectating ballet on the lake.

Jauna Muzika (Young Music) '22

Festival that brings together sound art and performativity, visual art and experimental practices. It invites us to explore the multitudinous diversity of experimental music, without drawing distinctions between electronic and acoustic music.
Long Night of Museums 2022

An annual event in which museums of Lithuania open their doors to visitors in the evening and at the night time. it's a great opportunity to visit Kaunas city museums for free and enjoy an exceptional day in the year.
Beatričė's Summer Festival '22
MAY to august
It has become a tradition for music lovers to welcome summer in Zypliai and Gelgaudiškis manors, as well as Evangelical Lutheran churches in Griškabūdis, Sintautai and Šakiai where the concerts take place. Griškabūdis Church of unique architecture (7-gon) is a venue with excellent acoustics. The Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra is often invited to open the Festival. This time the LNSO will be led by Maestro Modestas Barkauskas.
Klaipeda Jazz 2022
5th-7th of August
International jazz festival is organized every summer for lovers of the so-called world music, jazz and light music, of different age and musical taste. The Klaipėda Castle was selected as a symbol and venue of the Festival with the aim to spread the message about reconstruction of the Castle that was started at that time. Today, concerts are always given in open-air spaces and are free, and celebrated guests of the Festival give lessons of excellence to students of the Klaipėda University.
Christopher Summer Festival

It's time to switch the "stop" button to "play"! Let's get together at the Christopher Festival's concerts from the end of July annually.
The festival's motto is all genres are good except the boring ones. You'll have a chance to hear more than the masterpieces of classical music, including jazz, experimental projects, and traditional works that are sure to find their way into the hearts of the audience. Let the music take you to the church vaults, under the summer sky, or into the Lithuania's lovely nature.
PAZAISLIS MUSIC FESTIVAL

The summer music fiesta will be filled with 43 different programmes. Hosted by the traditional concert spaces in Kaunas and Kaunas region, The sounds of the events will also reach the churches and the unusual spaces beloved by the listeners where the original unforgettable aura is given to the concerts.
Operetta in Kaunas Castle
6th of July

Unique musical event in the open that attracts audiences with various tastes. Light music, full of fun and optimism, wonderful costumes and decorations, and the performers' professionalism have boosted the popularity. The Festival takes place on July 6 and is an outstanding highlight of the day. This event includes not only popular fragments of musicals and operettas, but also some new pieces, never heard before, are performed by singers and musicians from Lithuania and other countries.

Carillion Festival, Vilnius

The largest carillon in Central Europe, with 61 bells in the tower of the Church of St. Apostles Philip and Jacob in Vilnius, plays a new tune during this annual festival. Plus, professional carillonists from around the world put on free shows

The contemporary music festival is always young in spirit, but according to its 'passport' it is already approaching its forties. Organised by the active and restless younger generation of Lithuanian music professionals every May since 1985 in Druskininkai, the festival was and still is a succession of debuts, a creative lab and a management school.
Kaunas ConTempo modern stage art festival
1th-21th of August
Started from a three-day festival in 2019, reached six days of events in 2020 and grew to a ten-day edition in 2021. Organized yearly in August in Kaunas and Kaunas district, this year the festival promises its most stunning celebration of the festival’s history.
Vilnius International Film Festival

The biggest and most important cinema event in Lithuania. Over more than 20 years, the festival has become a highly-attended cultural phenomenon. In 2019 the festival was visited by 126 827 quality cinema lovers.

The Vilnius Jazz Festival is a jazz festival held inLithuania. It provides a broad perspective on contemporary trends in jazz from all over the world. The festival usually offers a 3-4 day programme of concerts, workshops and jam sessions featuring up to 10 different groups.

Recently, Heritas – an International Fair-Festival of Cultural Heritage Conservation and Technologies has taken place for the second time in Vilnius / Lithuania. During the 2019 edition, the fair gathered more than 50 exhibitors; 25 lectures and 30 thematic workshops took place. In total, more than 15,000 heritage professionals and heritage lovers – a lot of them children – visited the event.

International Vilnius Book Fair 2022

Birstonas Jazz '22

International jazz festival was set up in 1980. Traditionally festival takes place every two years on the last weekend of March. It is considered to be the oldest international jazz festival in Lithuania and entitled Birstonas resort town as "Lithuania jazz mecca".
KAUNAS JAZZ '22

Since 1991 he aim of expanding the extent of Kaunas Jazz was already explicit at that time. Later on, the Festival guests' concerts in other cities of Lithuania became an integral part of the Kaunas Jazz Festival. Every year the Kaunas Jazz Festival changes the image of the city—hundreds of cheerful people fill the city streets and halls to enjoy the sounds of jazz.
